I believe the most important pillar of Islam is the Zakah, or the redistribution of wealth. I believe this because it outlines all the basic principles of Islam, such as caring for one another, and having a sense of community, i.e the umma.
I believe the Salat is the most important because it not only makes you put time into your religion 5 times a day, every single day which keeps you involved in your religion. But it also keeps you thinking about God all day, which is a lot better than in other religions where you become distracted with other things in your life since you are not required to pray

ReplyDeleteDo you think that praying daily really gets you closer to god?
ReplyDeleteLiterally, no. But in the sense that you personally would feel closer to him, yes.
